The Loft at the Howard Gallery is pleased to announce Kate Lagaly as the newest addition to the gallery. Kate has won many awards and she is a member of the colored pencil and/or watercolor societies of Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama and is a member of The Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild, Sea Coast Artist Guild and Waterway Art Association locally as well as in groups in Charleston, Wilmington and Southport.

Joanne Ross of Myrtle Beach, SC won Best in Show at the Waccamaw Arts and Crafts Guild 12the Annual Juried Exhibit in the Franklin G. Burroughs and Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum in Myrtle Beach, SC, April 30,2009. Joanne's acrylic on yupo was titled "When Time Stood Still"
